- Aquatic therapy: Water-based exercise allows patients to move freely through the range of motion without increasing pain. You can regain strength and flexibility by pushing against the gentle tension of the warm water. You’ll experience pain relief and increased range of motion.

- Kinesio taping
- Scar management: Following surgery, the scar can heal with a thickening of the scar tissue. Therapy can often reduce the scar thickness and discoloration.

- Functional capacity evaluation: When pain or injury has compromised your ability to function secondary to an injury from work or an accident, you may be a candidate for a functional capacity evaluation. This is a way to accurately and objectively measure your functional limitations.

How do I make an appointment?
Please call the office at (704) 660-4470 to schedule an appointment. We strive to see you at the earliest convenience. Your physician may fax a referral to (704) 663-6172.
How long are the appointments?
The initial appointment is approximately one hour including filling out the necessary paperwork. Follow-up appointments are usually 30 to 60 minutes and may vary depending on the type of treatment required. Your therapist will discuss this with you at your initial evaluation.
What should I bring to my initial appointment?
Please bring your health insurance card, a photo identification and a list of your current medications.
Will my insurance company cover physical therapy?
Most insurances pay for physical and occupational therapy, however the amounts paid and number of visits allowed is highly variable. Please check your policy or call your carrier if you have questions. An insurance coordinator will be glad to assist at the time of your visit.
Will my insurance carrier cover therapy at your clinic?
We participate in most major insurance including Medicare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Workers’ Compensation programs and numerous other PPOs.
