Prenatal and Childbirth Education Classes & Tours
Breastfeeding Class
Breastfeeding class is taught by a lactation consultant and includes basic information how to get started and how to manage breastfeeding during the first few weeks of life.
Childbirth Education Class Series
Childbirth education classes are taught in the evenings as a series and meets two to three times. Class includes information about the labor process, medical interventions, positioning for labor and breathing techniques, and includes a hospital tour.
Infant Care Class
Infant care class includes basic infant care skills, such as feeding, bathing and diapering.
Infant/Child CPR
Course material includes CPR for children ages birth to adolescence, management of a choking victim and home and car seat safety.
Tours
Free tours of the Stork's Landing Maternity Center are offered regularly. Please visit our events page for dates.
It is recommended that moms complete prenatal classes by 36 to 37 weeks gestation.
Prices, dates and times are subject to change. Registration for all classes and tours is required.
