MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Members of the Lake Norman Regional Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary recently donated new teddy bears and other stuffed animals to the Mooresville Police Department (MPD). During their annual holiday celebration in December, members of the Auxiliary provided approximately 75 new stuffed animals to representatives from the Mooresville Police Department to be used as needed for children they encounter. This is an annual event where members of the Volunteer Auxiliary collect new stuffed animals from hospital employees, volunteers, and visitors to donate to law enforcement during their annual holiday gathering known as the Stuffed Animal Parade.
