Retirement Recogntion for Over 46 Years in Nursing - Frankie Sue Colemon, RN, Honored by Hospital

MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Lake Norman Regional Medical Center staff and administration surprised Frankie Sue Coleman, RN, with retirement recognition on December 15, her last day as an Emergency Department Nurse after 46.5 years in nursing. Coleman began her nursing career in January, 1972, when she and her husband, Phil, returned from Germany. She was a charge nurse and spent most of her career in the emergency department. During her tenure, she has previously been recognized as Nurse of the Quarter, served on the Preceptor Committee, and co-authored an article on waiting time in emergency departments as well as served as an obstetrics nurse for 15 years prior to beginning her career in the emergency department. Congratulations and well done!
