MOORESVILLE, N.C. – The Volunteer Auxiliary of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center has named the 2018 recipients of their Charitable Giving Program. Four area organizations were chosen for the valuable services each provides for people in the greater Mooresville and Lake Norman area who are experiencing hardship or challenges in their daily lives.
The 2018 recipients include The Mooresville/Lake Norman Christian Mission, Child Advocates of Iredell and Alexander Counties (CAIAC), Hope of Mooresville (HOMe), Dove House Children’s Advocacy Center. The Auxiliary honored these deserving organizations at a luncheon at the hospital on December 5. Auxiliary President Jerry Deaton presided over the luncheon. Deaton recognized and presented each organization with a donation check.
This is the eleventh consecutive year for the hospital Auxiliary’s Charitable Giving program where the volunteers donate, through their fundraising efforts, thousands of dollars annually to community organizations. These community donations are in addition to the annual student scholarships given by the Auxiliary.
