Lake Norman Regional Medical Center’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Announces New Exercise Physiologist

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center’s cardiac rehabilitation program announces Joseph Jackson as exercise physiologist. He joins cardiac registered nurse Jodi Walker, and clinical office assistant Deidre Figler.
Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in sports science/physiology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, has 25 years of experience in cardiac rehab programs as an exercise physiologist, and is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
Jackson relocated to Mooresville from Wilmington, NC, where he worked as an exercise physiologist in the clinical research department preforming research studies on cardiology, general surgery and neurology.
The cardiac rehabilitation program at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center is designed to enhance the quality of life for individuals who have experienced a cardiac event. The skilled professionals on the team are specially trained to assist patients who are beginning the journey towards a healthier lifestyle.
