Lake Norman Regional Medical Center Announces January American Heart Association’s Heartsaver CPR Training Course

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center (LNRMC) will host the American Heart Association’s Heartsaver CPR training. The course will be held on Tuesday, January 23, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the hospital’s Community Room B.
The course is open to the public for a cost of $50; the training book is included.
The Heartsaver CPR training is designed to teach basic skills in recognizing and treating life-threatening emergencies including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child and infant victims. Participants will learn to recognize warning signs of heart attacks and strokes in adults, as well as breathing difficulties in children.
Lake Norman Regional also offers a CPR class solely for professionals in the health care industry who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of hospital or health care settings.
