December Blood Drive Hosted by Lake Norman Regional Medical Center

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center will host a Blood Drive with the American Red Cross on Friday, December 14.. The blood drive will take place in Community Rooms A & B in the main building of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The blood drive is open to the public, and appointments are recommended. You will need to bring photo identification with you.

With the holidays and winter break fast approaching, the American Red Cross is facing a severe blood shortage this month, and patients are counting on donors to show up. After a shortfall of blood donations the past couple of months, partially caused by hurricanes forcing blood drives to cancel, a deficit of blood donations is projected this winter. Therefore, donors are in great need.
